Ministry
As Adulam Ministries has grown and expanded over the years, we have begun to take part in a variety of ministries community service activities in our city. We find that by involving the men in the program in service opportunities, they are more likely to stay drug free due to the responsibility they have in giving back to the community.

Benito Juarez Monument Plaza Outreach

Every Thursday evening the men from the rehab center join about 20 people from other ministries in the city to lead an outreach service to the homeless at this downtown plaza. After the service, those present receive a hot meal and the opportunity to enroll in the rehab program if they have a need for it.

Prison Ministry

Since Adulam Ministries truly began inside the city prison upon the conversion of its leadership, we believe it is essential that we continue to visit and minister the church and rehab ministries that continue to thrive inside the prison walls. Several men from the program visit the city prison every Wednesday, while others minister in two of the city's jails on Saturdays.

Life in Christ Clown Ministry

Several men who have been through the rehab program along with other members of La Puerta de la Fe Church belong to this clown ministry which seeks to introduce people to Christ through playful dramas and laughter. The group has performed at several local ministries as well as at three different orphanages in Chihuahua City.

Templo La Puerta de la Fe (The Door of Faith Church)

This thriving congregation in the Colonia Fronteriza Baja area of Juarez provides a place where the men in the program can attend church and serve in various ministries. Many men who have completed their program at the center continue to attend the church with their families.

Married Couples' Ministry
Partnering with members of La Puerta de la Fe Church, Director Juan Salazar and his wife, Laura, began this Bible study for married couples in February of 2005. The group meets twice a month and provides a place where both members of the church and participants in the rehab program can obtain counseling and advice concerning their marriage and family relationships.

Mission Trips
We have found that taking men from the program on mission opportunities outside of the city is a great way to expand their ministry horizons and expose them to God's work in other parts of Mexico. Our most recent trip was to Tijuana in December of 2008, where the men built a room onto the house belonging to our pastor's mother. (Her house burned down in 2007.)
