About Us

Adulam Ministries exists to help men with drug addictions leave their addictive habits and be restored in a new life with Jesus Christ, preparing them to be reintegrated into society with the possibility to continue serving God in ministry.

In I Samuel 22:1-2, David hid in the cave of Adullam (literally refuge in Hebrew) from King Saul. It was there that he welcomed all of the outcasts of society and trained them up to be his mighty men. At Adulam Ministries, we welcome society's outcasts to take part in a Christian rehabilitation program, and we rejoice as we watch God transform them into His mighty men.

History

Adulam Ministries was founded in August of 2000 by two men who came to know freedom in Christ in the city prison. They became convinced of the need for Christian rehabilitation programs outside the prison, and with limited resources and a lot of faith they initiated the ministry that has grown today into a successful program of life transformation.

Program

The men who form part of our rehabilitation program arrive and remain voluntarily throughout their three month program. During that time, they undergo a detoxication period of approximately one week, two months of integration into the activities of the center, and about three weeks of preparation for re-integration into society. Many choose to stay longer and serve as part of the leadership of the program.
